Glamour tip for the holiday:)

When it comes to the holidays, do you find yourself applying the same color on those lips?

How about pink?  Although pink is a girl's best friend, there are times when I want to wear pink on my lips, but don't know if it is too "barbie looking"? But then again, wearing pink on my lips gives me a "feminine" moment of being girlee! :)

Here are a few tips of of how to wear the right shade... of pink... so you can look sexy, classic, and maybe catch the attention of your "Ken's" eyes:

First, pink can be a very flattering shade as long as it the color matches your gums! :) "In Syle" Magazine recommends that when choosing a shade of pink, to make sure that it is NOT any  lighter then your gums. Another tip, use a "natural color" lip liner pencil and use a good quality lip brush to paint the lipstick on and you will have beautiful lips with staying power. Finally, for an extra sexy pout... dab a bit of gloss in the middle of the upper and lower lip and you are good to go! :)

Now go out there and give your Ken a big old smooochhh!

Merci!

Indulge in a little luxury during the holiday season for only $10 bucks!

Bon Jour Mademoiselles!  Wow!  The holiday season is quickly approaching upon us and it can be such a whirlwind.. As much as we all love the "spirit" of this special time of year, it can be stressful; having to shell out cash for a new smashing outfit(s) for the parties, buying gifts, traveling, etc.. (but you have to admit, deep down, we like it! :) . But sometimes we need to treat ourselves with all of the hustle and bustle - and we can't always afford to keep spending - but oooohh what the magic of  a new nail polish color and costume jewelry will do for a girl!

I went back to MI for the weekend for a Baptism and went shopping with my Mom, Sis, and Niece.  As we were looking around, I really fell in love with many "cocktail/holiday dresses", and wish that I had somewhere to wear these.  But we don't really go to any fancy parties, so that idea was out the window.  Then I went to "The Icing" (A sister store of Claire's Boutique), it was fun to look at the glitzy jewelry, accessories, and NAIL POLISH!  Yep, nail polish ---  I used to have so many colors, but over the years, I haven't "treated" my nails to such luxury, because of all of the cleaning, etc.. it can be a waste of time. lol.  But, I must say, that I FELL in love with many colors and thought, how fun!   I felt like I was "dressing up" my nails and and my hands! I even bought one of those beautiful Big Rings with gold/rhinestones at Forever 21 for $4.99~

So,,,, here is the color that I purchased -(although the pic is Chanel, I purchased the same color but it is an "ICING" Brand). Girls,  I must tell you, this nail polish is EXCELLENT!  This particular "ICING" nail polish compares and feels like an OPI brand. But, the cost is only $4.80 and they had some beautiful colors on clearance...

I must tell you  that I feel very chic wearing this color and with my ring,, it was beautiful.  It really makes me feel like it is a "Winter - Celebration" and my big old ring is like a snowflake on my hand. Sometimes the little things in life and  the inexpensive things can make the biggest difference - you can get a little lift and it only costs $10 bucks!

Step outside of your box, try something different - It is only Nail Polish! :)  What color do you want to try?

Merci!

Anklet Socks for Fall 2010.. off the runway! Shoe #1

 Rhianna.... love her style!

The Anklet sock!!! I remember when these were in style when I was 10 (yeah, about 32 years ago! :)lol. My sister had a pair of anklet socks to wear with her "Candies' (from the movie Grease, remember?). But when I was looking at my In Style Magazine, I fell in LOVE with the new look of the anklet and will scan the pic so you can see why!

What I have found is that there are many ways to wear this sock, and when I was on our little vaca in San Fran this weekend, the anklet sock found me! :).. and of all places..at the "American Apparel" shop. I will show you in my vid tomorrow the look and give you some tips of how to wear the anklets to give you a "balanced chic/classic look".. if "the bad kitty" look isn't your vibe. lol..But you have to admit, that it is kind of fun to try something different! Let me tell yah, my hubby thought that my new find was just.. ohhh, sooo sexy. lol..

As I was conducting my fashion research on google, here are some ideas that I found for all of you fashion goddesses out there; and some looks might me dramatic for you, but it can give you ideas.. and when I share my vid with you tomorrow, you will see how these looks can look for you in a fun and practical way!
Look #1.. The Classic Sexy Look

The lace does wonders!! This would look great with a pair of rolled up jeans, skinny or a boys cut.  I would keep everything simple and basic because the lace makes such as statement.. Am thinking maybe a white, gray, or black T with boyfriend jacket/blazer.. and Pearls?  Or  so sexy in a "pencil" skirt or a long plaid skirt, or even a little black flowing chiffon skirt.  The main key is to mix up the texture and pattern a little, to make it fun, classy, and not to over do it with the "Koochie Mama" look :). If you are going to pull of these anklets/shoes, you can't wear a low neck tight fitting shirt or a mini skirt that is up to your thong, lol..  (granted if you did not have the anklets on, you could, lol!)

If you look at Rhianna, see how she softens up the look with a feminine and classy look?

What is soo cool about these shoes is that if you live in a climate that eventually you look kind of weird wearing open toe shoes,  platforms, etc, during the fall, well now you can get much more wear out of your shoes!

***I must warn you that this shoe is extremely hot for Fall!***

Stay tuned for my vid and I will share more with you on my blog of how to wear the gladiator and boot with anklets too! :)

Have fun with socks! Opaques are the best too :) Cant wait to show my "glitter" socks tomorrow.

Hope that you all enjoyed..  And what an economical way to spruce up your Fall Wardrobe:)

xoxo Merci!

My pick of a really cool golf shirt for the front nine!

Isn't this the cutest shirt for the course? It amazes me when I see such cute clothes, it is
simple but so on the cutting edge; "Player", now that is cool! Why can't I be that creative? lol
I love the fact that the designer, "Donna Bonn Taylor" put her unique creativity to make this a fun shirt, yet stick to the "etiquette" of the game... to wear a shirt with a collar.

I finally am getting back into my game, and have been having the time of my life. Even if you are not a Golfer Goddess, it is okay; I bet that if your significant other golfs, he would love to have you play with him..  besides....  it will give you an excuse to buy this fabo shirt!

My new "meetup" group for women golfers in the OC has been great too, and one fellow golfer who I met told me that she took up golf so she can wear the cute clothes! haha. So you see, it is okay to fall in love clothes that may not be up your alley, but no worries, because I think that we always find a way or reason to wear it :). Don't you agree with me? lol

Here is the link to see Donna's collection, but make sure that you click on the "Golf 4 Her" advertisement on my blog. I guarantee that you will have fun checking out the styles.. everything from diva ball markers to checkered golf gloves :).. see for yourself! :)

http://www.golf4her.com/Donna-Bonn-Taylor-Graphic-T-shirt-p/db-s10-03b.htm

Well fashion girls, I hope that you enjoyed!  Golf can be fun and instead of the walking on the "red carpet", let's get some style from "Golf 4 Her" and walk on the "green carpet"..

Pass it on girls! :))) Stay tuned for my day at the California Mart!! :)

Merci! xoxooxox

The Slimming Bathing Suit.. the Tankini!

Yes mame, it is that time of year when the blue skies begin to fade, the big clouds are slowly rolling in, and the "crickets" start to chirp during the day. That is what I used to hear back in Michigan when the summer was coming to end.. lol.  But, there is still ample time to enjoy summer and those Summer Clearance Sales!  I like to buy clothes on the clearance rack for the next season, and especially bathing suits. They are a safe bet, pretty much classic and the trends aren't too outrageous that will leave you with "what in the *&*&" was I thinking when I bought that!

I am going to do a mini series on body shapes and what type of bathing suit will enhance your natural assets and beauty!  This way you will have the tools to get out there and shop those clearance racks for the perfect suit!

On that note.. this is for all of the girls in the house who want to slenderize (who doesn't?, lol) and make your midsection look longer and leaner, the solution.. the Tankini!

I love these pics and had a very hard time choosing what pics to post because there are soo many to choose from :)

Here are some other tips for all of you beach babes out there

* The solid print will slenderize your body, especially dark colors.

*When it comes to prints, make sure to find the best one for you; if you wear a print that is too large for your frame, it will engulf you. On the other hand, if you wear prints that are too small for your frame, then you will look larger. And for those of you beach babes who that are average to plus size, go for the medium to large prints.  Another little tip, if you are full figured petite, go for vertical medium prints.

* When it comes to the neckline of a bathing suit, a v-neck will slim down your upper body and draw the eye away from the bust line.  However, if you have a "pear body shape", where your shoulders are more narrow compared to your hips/butt, then go for the scoop and crew neck tops.  This will help balance your body and even make your butt look smaller! :) yippee!

* Always go for the "vertical" print versus the "horizontal" print, this will give you a very slim look because it will draw the eye up and down, giving you a longer, leaner look.

*If you are short waisted, like ME,  stay away from a high cut bottom,, mmm? I always thought that helped BUT, if wear bottoms as shown above, this will help balance a shorter waist.

I love these suits too!  I wanted to show you a bikini also which can help you look leaner in the midsection.  If you look at the bottoms of the blue bikini, you will see is a wrapped at the waist, which will define your waist and hide a tummy! :)

Finally, the last suit to display today is one that is a "one-piece", but you can see how it slenderizes and gives a very racy, sexy, look!

Hope that these tips helped you!  I just think that the "Tankini" looks very sexy on everyone, no matter what shape or size that you are.  A shopping tip for you..  check out Target's clearance racks, I always find a mis-matched top or bottom for $3.74!  Who says that your tops and bottoms have to match?  Eventually, you will find a piece that matches your collection. Kohl's also has some great clearance sales, and sometimes you can receive a 15% off coupon in the mail or on line :)

That is it for now Beach Babes!!!!  Merci!! xooxoxo

Cali by Cal... Finally, clothing with built in bras!

Bon Jour ! Gosh it has been soo long since I have talked to my girls! Lot's going on at the house, actually a new makeover! Yeah!  But, I am back and I must say that I missed you :)

I have to admit, besides my shoe obsession, I am addicted to signing up for fashion blogs,  sample sales, fashion events, new boutiques, cool on line stores. You name it, I get it! But I came across this and thought that because it is summer, you all may really appreciate this!  Have you ever wanted to wear a really nice tank, v neck, or even better, an off the shoulder shirt (which by the way is veryy sexy!), but do not want to deal with the bra strap deal?
Well, divas, the Fashion Gods have been listening to us!

What do you think??  I LOVE IT! This is only one picture of many of the pieces that this unique company designs.  The best part, you don't have to be a Cali girl to wear these fashionable pieces!  Check out the link below to see more of the collection where to find a store near you :)

FInally! "Hot', 'Hot", "Hot" Golf Apparel!

OOH LA LA!

Don't you love Face Book?  I love catching up with old and new friends and.....  finding fashion, events, and just cool stuff! So, the other day, I saw this advertisement for "Golf4her",, and OMG, totally love it!

I grew up on golf, and played avidly and competed for 9 years.. and man do I remember,, the "dress codes". And way back then (1977 -1986), it was so hard to find the "proper clothes" that were cute! I think that I had every color in "Izod" polos :). lol!

My Mom and her friends always wore the cute skirts that were the typical green and pink, khaki, green and blue...  flamingos, whales, turtles, etc. you know the "preppy look", which I love, but when I saw these designers, Man oh Man!  I am inspired to get back onto the course!

I have many more styles and designers that I fell in love with "Golf4Her"...www.golf4her.com and you can find them on fb @Golf4her...  Check them out, the company is very warm and sincere.  I had posted a few comments on FB and actually got a personal response!!  Plus, they finally listened to the need of women golfers, we are not dudes, we are chicks who need some fashion out there on the course! :)))

These fashions are just so darn trendy, rock starish, and different, that even if I have a terrible game, I won't care, I have my hot outfit! lol So, without further adoo...  drum roll...... these are just a few picks from one of the designers that I love. "Loudmouth", bringing sexy to the 19th hole and beyond!

Skirt #1
Skirt #2

Skirt #3

Whatcha golfers think?  Even if you are not a golfer, why not get a hot skirt?  Hey if anything, my game may not be "hot" anymore, but with these skirts, I can look "hot"!! lol.  (PS..  I found golf gloves that even match the skirts!)

Stay tuned for more of my favs.... :) As I really had a difficult time posting my first! lol - I love everything!!!!

Have a beautiful day, and does anyone want to play some golf?  BTW, my hubby bought me new clubs (yes, I have had the same set since highschool, they don't make the "woods anymore", haha),, just need some lessons!
But first, one ? for yah, what skirt do you like the best?  (there are more on the website too! )

On that note, I am off, and can't wait to get on the course with my new skirt!

Merci!!!!  xooxoxoxoxoxoxooxox

Do you want to know the secret.. for stronger, healthier, and longer hair :)

Here it is Mademoiselles!  How ironic is it? I spoke to two hair stylists today and it was recommended to use Biotin to help strengthen my hair, ultimately, LONGER and HEALTHIER hair!

If you have hair like mine which will grows SOO SLOW and when it does grow, it breaks off!  Can you relate? lol.. When I was a little girl,  I had long hair, but that was a long time ago!

I often think,, should I get extensions?  But it probably would be like getting acrylic nails..?? Beautiful at first and your hands look younger... but the damage can be brutal!... Kind of like extensions?

What do you think about that???

Well girls, I am calling it a night, but wanted to let yah know about "our" secret..  Tomorrow, I must buy Biotin!  You can buy it on Amazon (click on the link) or any drugstore.. (I think)...

Merci!! xoxoxoxox

The Modern Cardigan.. chic, sexy, for every size :)

Cardigans...  what do you think of when you hear cardigan..??  Your Dad's golf sweater, preppy, wearing your boyfriends "Letter Sweater"? lol,  Well have I got news for you!!  I have found some awesome different ways to wear the cardigan.. and I BET THAT YOU HAVE ONE IN YOUR CLOSET?? If not,  check out your Dad's, Grandpa's,  or better yet, the Goodwill!

The pics above show you how you can use a cardigan for summer with a cute pair of shorts, jeans, or a skirt.

But the some pics that I really loved because they are examples of every day people, different sizes, and how you can go through your closet, and put an outfit together.  I am seeing a trend with "belts, both big and skinny". Even if you are "hiding" behind that shirt.. come on, emphasize your curves and waist.. :)

Pic #1...  love the colors, layering, and gold belt,, notice the shoes? :)

Picture #2.. Oooh, I like! The beautiful colors, the versatility (casual, girlfriend time, or work).. and my fav.. the scarf :) . You could dress it up with a pair of boots, heels, and a cool bag!

Picture #3-- Love the dress, tights, belt, accented orange cardigan, and the "open toe" shoe.

Picture #4.. Totally love this!  She has her own blog and I love what
she does to pull together an outfit, down to every accessory!  She wears it well, and so can you!

Picture #5,, Once again, great fashion taste!  Love the colors, femininity, the layering, the thickness of the belt, and DID YOU NOTICE>> the Open Toe Shoe!

Okay girls, now let's go to our closet and see what we find!  Take some pics and show me!! Have some fun and be different:)). MERCI, xoxoxoox

Slimming Tips!

SLIMMING TIP #1--- Patricia's Secret...

Bon Jour Mademoiselles :),,  today I am going to reveal a few fashion secrets from the Fashion Gods. shhhh, no just kidding, please spread the word! No matter what size you are, I think that EVERY woman looks like a million dollars in these kind of pants -- the trouser cut pant with the wider leg.  There is something just "chic" about them and I LOVE THEM!

I am only 4'11 and wear the skinny jeans, but I feel like my legs look longer and slimmer when I wear these types of trousers.  But even if you are not my size,,  guess what?  Chicness comes in all shapes and sizes!  This is why this pant is PERFECT!

**** FASHION GOD TIP****
If you feel like you carry more weight around your middle, these pants, with a higher waist provide tummy control, and the wider leg will give you a balanced look"

Slimming Secret #2..... The Peep-Toe Shoe
You know my obsession, passion, and the one thing that I can never get enough of... shoes!!!!! lol..  Okay girls, here is the deal...  when I wear my trousers,  I love them because I can wear them with a boot (pointy toe preferred with heel), pump, but my FAV is an open toe HEEL!

Even if you are 5'10, no worries, get the heels girl!  You see, being 4'11 can be just as difficult sometimes in the Fashion World as 5'10, but who cares...  be proud to be a chick!  I don't know about you, but when I put heels on, I feel sexier, taller (that is a given, lol), and MUCH more confident..  When you pair the shoes with the trouser pant, look out, hot stuff comin through!!  Your legs will look so much longer and slimmer :)

The French and Secret #3

Alright Mademoiselles, in my last blog, I wrote about the French and what makes them such Fashion Divas without even trying.. this is one of them, and this is what the French mean when they say" that it doesn't matter what size you are.. if your clothes fit you good, then your confidence will shine through"!

Trust me honey, even at my height, the Fashion Gods can be cruel to me.. Who in the world wears my size and is 5'7? lol,,  IT  is so RARE that I actually find a pant that is the right length.  I like skinny jeans, but feel much better in the "trouser", but they are a mile long.. so I too, must get it together and just BUY the pants and get them altered! lol..
If you are wondering, okay PJ , I found a pair of pants that I like and I PROMISE that I will get them altered, but what are the rules?

Here yah go...  Make sure that the waistbands do not gap and pants are hemmed properly.. which means.. that the pants should cover the top part of your foot without dragging on the ground. AND YES bring those high heel peep toe shoes in.. NO FLATS ALOUD!

Another tip for yah if you need to find person to alterate your clothes.. try a dry cleaner.  Here in Cali, they charge about $8 -10 bucks. Not too bad !

I hope that you all enjoyed today... I am trying to cover all shapes and sizes :)..  We need to be proud of our bodies and take the knowledge from the Fashion Gods to look Hotter than EVAR!

**If you like the pants shown, I found them on the Lane Bryant website @54.00..  very cute! **

Guess that is a wrap Mademoiselles!!!  Do you have any secrets that you want to share?  Let us know if you try any of these fashion tips!  More to come!!!!

 MERCI!!!!

A little bit' of French Chic, oui, oui?

Bon Jour Madmoiselles..  I must say that I am so excited with the growth of our Fan Page of "La Pink Chambre" on facebook!  Today I noticed two more fans, and of whom I believe are French? Totally Awesome!

Ever since I was a little girl, I have been obsessed with "Paris" and for the life of me cannot tell you why! Maybe it is because I do have a little bit of French Blood in me, and I NEED TO GET BACK TO MY ROOTS? lol,,

Or could it be that I just have always loved fashion and shoes for as long as I can remember (yes, all of the way from my "pre-school clog days), lol,, I just don't know!

So, I thought that today I would bring you a few "French" fashion tips today in honor of our passion for fashion :).

Rule #1 - No matter what your size..  wear what fits you!  IF you are petite, it is worth the money to buy a nice piece and pay for the alteration.  IF you are a bigger girl, DON'T hide under a big shirt or pair of pants!  Find a flattering shirt/pants, and wear it with pride.  When clothes fit you properly, don't you feel a little bit more confident? Kind of like having a good hair day?  And that is the French's secret to achieve a "timeless and chic" look, "Self Confidence" and feeling good about themselves. WORK IT GIRL!  Many of us American girls tend to wear pants that are way too tight, sweatpants, or baggy clothes.  Just by wearing clothes that "fit properly" is the the first step to looking chic and feeling good about YOU!

Tip #2.. The Red Lipstick... I used to wear red lipstick but have gone to the more natural/beachy bronze glossses.  Maybe the reason is because  I moved to Southern Cali a few years ago and the styles are a little bit different from the East? Californians Style tend to be a little bit more laid back.  But when you think of "French" Glamour, you think of Chanel, right? And when you think of Chanel, what color comes to mind.. Red and Pink...

Obviously, you wouldn't wear red lipstick with the outfit that I showed you above, lol, but think of black/white outfit, and keep it classic girl!

These are just a couple of tips to help us American girls go chic and French!  Much more to come,,  and I cannot wait to share with you tips of how and what to wear to make yourself look like a chic foxy lady! :))) But until then, look for clothes that truly fit you, not too big or too small.  And BOOST that self-confidence, if you don't feel it for the day, fake it!

Merci!

Girl Talk... and PMS,, I have a secret!

I know that I am blogging and promoting fashion, but every now and then a girl has to share a secret~  PMS RELIEF! When those pants don't fit you because of bloat and you just feel down right awful, we need HELP!

So, I am bringing you one of my "magical PMS" remedies.  Who would have ever thought that a beautiful plant like the one shown below could bring a girl such happiness!

This is a Vitex Plant (angus castus - aka fruit) and it will bring you wonders!
Beautiful, I know! But if you are like me, the older I get, the worse my "PMS" symptoms are. How about you?? When I read about this, I thought, okay, what the heck? Worth a try!! I AM DESPERATE!  lol .

It took about a good month of consistent use of the "supplement" to see a difference.  I still have my "days" during my visit from "Dot", but I used to suffer for sometimes 2 whole weeks before she came!

I noticed a difference and when I get out of my "habit"and do not take Vitex daily, I can definitely tell!  Like I say, it will not "cure" you or prevent Dot from coming, but I am having HUGE relief before my week from the ...... visit..

Where to buy Vitex and How Much

I first ordered VItex on line and spent $10.00 plus shipping and thought that was a good deal for my pain and agony! lol. Then I found it at Henry's (Whole Food), but guess what? I found it on Amazon, the same brand that I use for only $4.00! That is a STEAL!

So girls, for your convenience, I have posted a link on this blog that will enable you to go right to Amazon and stock up!  It is so worth it!  You have to wait about 30 days to see a difference.

You are probably wondering, how does this work and is it safe? Yes it is safe, it is all natural ingredients and is all herbal.  Just google "vitex" and you will get the skinny.

If you are like me, you love fashion, but when you feel like $*$(*@, who wants to try clothes on or for that matter, wear anything but comfy pj;s! lol.

Are you with me? lol.....

Let me know if you ordered any, and how it works for yah!  Being a girl can sometimes be hard work, but if we can help each other feel and look the best that we can, yahoo!!!

Merci Madmoiselles! Pass this blog onto your girls!! We need to STOP THE PAIN AND SUFFERING! xoooxoxox

The Boyfriend Jacket

THE BOYFRIEND JACKET -- JAZZED UP FOR 2010

I must say that when I saw a "boyfriend jacket" the other day, I didn't know what to think!  All that I could think of was...  been there, done there, with STIR UP PANTS! NO<< not again!  But the more that I look at our fav celebs wear their "boyfriend jackets", maybe I can try??????? But it is just so 80's to me! lol, what is next.. big hair and lots of eye shadow? lol ,, and oh Big shoulder pads..

Maybe that is what Spring is all about? To be fresh and try new things?  Well, if SJP is wearing the "jacket", then it must be vogue? I do have to commend her that I do like how she chose a feminine jacket to go with the pastels.  But as much as I love SJP, this look does remind me of Cybil Shepard in "Moonlighting". At the time, I LOVED her "suits", but I think that I out grew that look. lol

Maybe??

Another one of my fashion icons is Rachel Bison, and she is wearing the "jacket".. and it is from Express.. not to shabby! This I could pull off because I too, am petite (4'11), and the "boxy jackets" DO NOTHING FOR ME!

LIke the floral combo:)

Here is another example of the "jacket",, with the beautiful floral print that is HOT for Spring..  I still don't know about the jacket.. It reminds me of wearing a pretty dress for a dance/date, yet you have to borrow your boyfriends coat for the party after.. lol

I don't know girls, I guess that if I were to wear a "boyfriend jacket" AGAIN,, I would definitely need one that it is not so boxy and more fitted. However, if you are taller than me, you can pull it off!

I am finding with age that I have to go with what best looks good on me and still be Vogue!  So there yah go, even when I am 90, I will wear what is "in", as long as it it flattering. lol!
What do you think?  Are your wearing one,  will you buy one?

PS> I did see this jacket @ Walmart.. the Miley Cyrus collection!!

A few of my fav things on a smart diva's budget!

As I was looking at my "Glamour" newsletter of the week, I fell in LOVE (don't I always) with some of the $50 and under beautiful spring items.  However, could not copy for yah!  I am on a mission Madmoiselles to bring a you a refreshing, spring/summer look for you!  We have had 80 degree weather in Cali, and believe it or not, we have had the "log cabin blues too"! However, I did find this sassy dress and could picture myself wearing it on a hot summer day, with a nice tan, at the beach, being fun, funky, and trendy!  PLUS it looks soo comfy!

I must give credit to this website @ www.Revolve.com... Some great stuff! A little more pricey, but sometimes, a girl has to give in! lol,, I just might have to order this! $75 buckaroos

 The Ring,, the Perfect Accessory!

Next, I LOVE this ring!! I am having some problems tonight with my pics, but I hope that you can see how beautiful that this ring is!!  It is only $24 at Urban Outfitters, another one of favorite stores.. You never know what you are going to find:).  But this ring, you will  look like you just walked out of Sax! I think that this ring will give the dress above just a little bit of "class" to give it a "retro chic" look.  WHAT DO YOU THINK?

The Shoe

Alright girls, the Fashion Gods ARE not with me tonight! lol.. I am finding some really cute things to show you, but the pictures are not letting me copy/paste! Digital Print "In"

Bon Jour Madmoiselles! I have been giving you the skinny of what is "hot" for Spring 2010,, but now I am going to give the secret to what is "out" for Spring.  The dress above is the new "digital" look...   it is the new rave! Skirts, tanks, and especially dresses!  What I love about Spring, is that the trend is "feminine, flirty, lots of dresses, etc..  But if you are not the type of girl who likes the "romantic" look, then this is PERFECT for you!!  You can be bold, modern, still use the palette of "lots" of bright color, right off of the page of Vogue..

Graphic Print "Out"

Although the "graphic" print is out for Spring,, I still LOVE the look! When I was googling imgages for this look,  to be honest with you, I still would have chosen them as my favs!  Guess that I like the "mod" look?  But on a different note, isn't it fun to see how celebs can wear the same outfit and with different accessories?  First, I was like, okay "digital",  "graphic", what is the diff?  But I think that I can tell now, that they are both modern, yet a "digital" look is one that is kind of like a modern "tye-dye".. and a "graphic" is like a 70's print.  But I love both!!!!
So there yah go for ONE look that is out, but is it?  How long with the "digital" look last?  I think that that "graphic" look can be a "classic" look,,, ????? mmmmm,,, what do you think?

And for one of my good friends,  yes mame, black is still in!!!

Merci!!

For the Love Of Clogs!! Ooh la la!

I am so excited!  So far this Spring, everything that I see is so eclectic, and taking us back to the 80's and 70's! I remember my first pair of clogs,, when I was 4! They were a rubber, turquoise clog with an orange heel.  Then I had a pair when I was 5, then at 6, a pair with a wooden heel.  I will never forget,, in PE, sporting my new denim dress, knee socks, and clogs. Trying to play volleyball, and my teacher told me to get my hands out of my pockets and play! lol.. But I was trying to "strike a pose",, lol. My love for clogs has continued throughout my passion for shoes! I have a pair of Uggs clogs that I lovee  so much, that the heel is so worn down!

Spring is going to be hot, hot, hot with a variety of clogs to chose from!  Our fav fashionista,  SJP is wearing her new "trendy" clog with the skinny zippered jean.  No matter what she comes up with, it always looks good!

The great thing that I love about this new Spring trend is that the "clog" is so updated and we have many varieties to choose from,  Check this next pic out..

How gorgeous are these clogs?  LOVE the detail and flowers,,, you can wear these with jeans like SJP, dresses, shorts.. I love the fact that I can still wear my 3 inch heel and look taller and be a trendsetter!

If you want to have a "chic" look.. these clogs are from "Chanel", however,  I know that we can find these cheaper somewhere else.  But I want the white ones!!!!

Isnt' it great to see the collection and variety?  Yep, my little girl "love for clogs" never went away.. guess it is time to "update" my shoe collection, and go out and buy a few pair!  I will do my duty and let all of my Madmoiselles know the secret..... :)

Merci! PS. What pair do you like,, are you going to buy a pair?
